The stay was delightful, with a spacious room that overlooked a beautiful garden, providing a peaceful retreat after sightseeing. I appreciated the breakfast available all day, offering a variety of items like fresh fruit and pastries that kept me energized during my explorations around nearby attractions like the National Maritime Museum and the Hermitage Amsterdam, which were within walking distance. I did have to be cautious on the steep stairs, but the cozy atmosphere and the cleanliness made it all worthwhile.

We stayed with our teens and loved exploring the nearby Botanical Gardens, which were beautiful and peaceful. The hotel had a cozy vibe and offered great views. The all-day breakfast was a winner for our hungry crew.
My kids wished for a few more kid-friendly meal options.

The cozy atmosphere truly stood out, with the room overlooking a tranquil garden that felt like a hidden retreat in the middle of the city. I particularly enjoyed the availability of fresh French pastries and fruits around the clock, ensuring I was never left hungry. However, the steep stairs to my high room posed a challenge, and I did notice some occasional noise disturbances that might not suit everyone. Still, the host's kindness and the exceptional cleanliness of the environment made for a pleasant experience.

Charming Atmosphere and Cozy Rooms
I had a delightful stay with a spacious, cozy room on the 4th floor, which featured great views and all the comforts I needed. The location was convenient, close to trams and some fantastic restaurants like Chez Fabrice, where I had a tremendous meal. The steep stairs were quite a workout, which might not be ideal for everyone, but the fresh bottled water available at the top floor was a nice touch.

absolutely shocked that I had to deal with such tiny, steep stairs and zero noise isolation. really, it's like they want you to trip and listen to everyone's business! after dealing with this, I expected an upgrade or at least a complimentary drink, but alas, just more disappointments! how thoughtful of them to keep it cozy, I guess.

Just a decent option for getting around the area in Amsterdam with good price-value balance. The breakfast was surprisingly plentiful with fresh bread and cheese that I really enjoyed in the morning. Be prepared for steep stairs, though. they're a real workout!

Solo traveler paradise
The room looked out on a beautiful garden, it was peaceful and filled with flowers. I loved that they had pastries and fresh fruits available 24/7, so I never went hungry.
It wasn’t cheap, but for what you get, it’s still acceptable.
